For 2010 the Benjamin Foundation is our Charity.
"The Benjamin Foundation was founded more than 15 years ago and exists to help people in Norfolk deal with many of the challenges that life throws at them; whether ‘everyday’ issues such as childcare or heartbreaking problems like abuse and homelessness.
The charity
provides a range of practical services, support and counselling which all aim to
empower people and give them back a sense of hope and control."

You are invited to join us on April 18th 2010 for a walk of 11/2
to 2 hours, about 5 miles, around the pretty central Norfolk village of Swanton
Morley. The walk starts at Darby's. a hostelry to the North of the
village, just off the B1147 at the bottom of the hill through the
village, off a sharp bend, and here you are invited to partake of coffee and
biscuits at 10.15 am before setting out at 10.45 am (free to those having paid
their entrance fee).
Darby's invite you to park in their car park but ONLY at the top.
You will find by clicking on the route and forms icon that you will be able to access route details, a sponsorship form, and and application form. We ask you to submit the application form with your entry payments as early as possible and certainly by the date on the form (28th March). Walkers are welcome to walk for their Twinning association, the charity, or both, but their intention must be stated clearly on the sponsorship form so as not to mislead our supporters. Walkers are requested to raise at least £10 per person in sponsorship for their efforts. The proceeds with the sponsorship form(s) should be forwarded to Claire Alban, Chair of the Norfolk Association of Twin Communities by the 10th May 2010
The walk is mainly on very quiet metalled roads, footpaths and permissive paths. Some traffic must be expected crossing the main road halfway through the walk, and around Robertson barracks.
Darby's is an attractive pub/restaurant where a very pleasant lunch can be enjoyed after the event. Details can be found at http://www.dombarnard.com/darbys/welcome.html or give a call on 01362 637647. Booking will be essential.
