A lovely 2 bed cottage at Blosseveille, near St Valery en Caux on the Normandy coast.

This gite is situated in a very small but pretty village about 2 miles from the coastal town of Veules-les-Roses, known for its beaches, and with many shops and restaurants, and just along the coast from St Valery en Caux, which has all facilities and a very pretty marina and harbour. Further along the coast will be found Dieppe in one direction, a pretty town with the cross channel ferry service, and in the other the port of Fécamp, with its nautical museum, including a section about Aberdeen herring fishing.
The cottage has been well restored and extended to make very comfortable 2 bedroomed holiday accommodation. The original building was a single room cottage which now houses the bedrooms and the shower room and toilet, the former having the washing machine, and a new hexagonal extension has been added, with large windows and patio doors on the 3 Southerly facing sides, for the fully fitted kitchenette, lounge and dining area. There is a large open fireplace, and elctric heating in all rooms.
There are 2 single beds in 1 bedroom on the first floor, and a double bed in the ground floor bedroom.
The garden is large and grassed, with fencing all round and with roads to the front and one side of the property. The garden abuts onto meadows on the other 2 sides and therefore, despite there being no high hedges it is relatively private, but not completely so. There is parking within the grounds of the property.
Prices (at 2005) €420 high season, down to €230 low season with short breaks available.
